The exhibition focuses on the development of medicine and medical faculty from the time of Charles IV. to the present. Visitors will be able to see the excerpts from the old textbooks,the various medical instruments that were previously being used to treat, the variety of diseases and photos from the history of the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. You will also have an opportunity to find out more about the origin and evolution of the medical disciplines or architectural curiosities of the faculty buildings.

A world expert on geriatrics and palliative medicine professor Sean Morrison from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York accepted the invitation from Center for Palliative Care and will present his lecture "Transforming Care for the Seriously Ill: The Role of Modern Palliative Care" in a special event in Prague.
