April Programme of the Academic Club of the First Faculty of Medicine

We bring you the current programme of the Academic Club for April. Already on 1 of April, the 1st guest to sit down in the Chair of Faust will be RNDr. Alena Čížková from the Department of Hereditary and Metabolic Disorders of the First Faculty of Medicine and General Teaching Hospital, holder of the Czech Head Award for 2008 and of Bolzano Prize. On 30 of April, the guest of Chair for Faust will prof. MUDr. Karel Šonka, DrSc. From the Department of Neurology of the First Faculty of Medicine and General Teaching hospital. At the same time we would like to invite you to see the exhibition of photographs of Pavel Jerman „Going home“ and other events. We are looking forward to your visiting our club.

Programmeof the Academic Club of the First Faculty of Medicine for March

We would like to invite all the members of the Academic Community of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, all employees of the General Teaching Hospital, other teaching hospitals in Prague and all fans of the Academic Club of the First Faculty of Medicine to attend all events we have prepared in the Faust House in March. In Chair for Faust, the guest this time will be a prominent cardiologist Professor Aleš Linhart, Head of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine of the First Faculty of Medicine and its Teaching Hospital. Another guest in the series „We invite you to the Club“ will be Vladimír Válek, the principal conductor of the Czech Radio Orchestra. We would like to invite you also to the opening day of the exhibition of photographs of Vladimír Landovský „We were children“ and other evets.

Do not miss launching ceremonies of two new books and a poetic early evening and meetibg with a Czech actress Mrs. Jana Štěpánková. We are looking forward to seeing you at these events.

Programme of the Academic Club of the First Faculty of Medicine for December 2008. We would like to invite all members of the academic community of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, the employees of the General University Hospital in Prague and other supportes of the Academic Club to attend all other events we plan in the Faust House. We recommend the meeting with painter and graphic artist Emma Srncová and the exhibitions of the Čeněk Kadlec´ Photography of Construction Industry and Architecture.
