Faust’s House, which is an exceptional historical object, inspired the management of the 1st Faculty of Medicine to create a decent background for members of the Academic Society, above all for students. For this reason, after agreement with the Municipal Authority of Prague and the Office for Care of Historical Monuments, a part of the ground floor was adapted as a Club under the name of Academic Club of the 1st Faculty of Medicine |
All members of the Academic Society of Charles University can spend their free time and meet their colleagues in the Academic Club of the 1st Faculty of Medicine. Academic Club entered into general consciousness of expert and laymen public and mass media by its expert, social and cultural activities – lectures, meetings, exhibitions and concerts. The Club is managed by the Students’ Board of the Academic Club.
